"David Blunkett was under pressure to arm police with water cannon last night after Britain's worst rioting for 16 years. The calls came after 1,000 mostly Asian youths armed with petrol bombs, crossbows and bricks, rampaged through Bradford, firebombing buildings in 12 hours of violence...Get it?
Trouble had flared at 4.20pm on Saturday when National Front members... clashed with Asian youths who had attended an Anti-Nazi League rally. Two white men were stabbed before the focus for violence shifted to the suburb of Manningham as police cleared the city centre. The rioters' targets were random - among the buildings set alight were a Labour club, a Conservative club, two car showrooms, shops and pubs...
The rioting was the worst in Britain since the 1985 Tottenham riots, which ended in the murder of PC Keith Blakelock.
Some community leaders believe there was a pre-planned element and claimed it was led by 100 or more Asians intent on stirring up trouble. One source said youths were driving around with bricks and baseball bats, looking for violence...
Mohammed Riaz, a Conservative ethnic affairs adviser and former Manningham councillor, said about 200 Asians had been inciting others into throwing stones and bricks.
'If the purpose of these youths is to try to defeat the National Front and defeat racism, this is not the way to go about it. This has put race relations in Bradford back by ten years... We were urging people all day not to give the fascists what they wanted by turning their aggression on to their own community, but the message was not heeded...
A total of 36 people were arrested, 23 white and 13 Asian. All but two were from Bradford."
"1,000 mostly Asian youths armed with petrol bombs, crossbows and bricks, rampaged through Bradford, firebombing buildings in 12 hours of violence... Two white men were stabbed."And yet, according to The Mail, of the 36 people arrested, 23 were white and only 13 were Asian.
Below we see a white boy attacked by Asians in Bradford and the same boy receiving medical attention after being stabbed.

The only woman to be charged in connection with the Bradford riots was mother-of-four and 'former' prostitute, Bernice Dunn.
She was caught on CCTV camera throwing rocks at point blank range at a policeman, who was wrestling with a man on the floor.
"The officer, PC Mark Simpson, was badly bruised and his protective helmet was dented and split."Stephen Wood, defending, stated that Dunn had been drinking and had taken heroin before she got involved in the riot. Which is no excuse at all in my book.
She was jailed for four-and-a-half-years.
This is Bernice Dunn:

On 9 November 2005, a woman was stabbed and a man slashed in Swindon.Good for you and your mother, Stacey, your feelings regarding the creature who tried to kill you are entirely appropriate.
On 28 October 2005, This is Wiltshire reported thus:"Robert Karanja tried to murder Stacey Deacon, a jury has decided. On 6 January 2006, The Swindon Advertiser told us more:
The 26-year-old from St Mary's Grove in Gorse Hill, Swindon was convicted yesterday at Bristol Crown Court. He was also found guilty of two charges of wounding with intent and of assault by beating…
Karanja plunged a kitchen knife twice into Stacey Deacon's stomach as she stood with friends outside Swindon train station on Tuesday, November 9 last year. Her friend, Martin Croke, 25, was slashed across his left arm by Karanja.
The defendant had punched a third victim, Victoria Pike, in her face.
It was alleged during the trial at Bristol Crown Court that Mr Croke and Miss Pike had launched a racist attack on Karanja earlier that evening near Whitehouse bridge.
Miss Deacon had not been present at the fracas which was said to have prompted Karanja to seek revenge by hunting the group down with a kitchen knife he collected from his house…
Martin Croke still shudders when he thinks about the night he was slashed… A nasty scar on his left arm is a constant reminder for him of the night when Robert Karanja attacked.
It had started out as a normal night out, but ended with blood pouring
down Martin's arm at Swindon station while a girl ran from platform to platform shrieking: 'I've been stabbed. I've been stabbed'.
Martin, 25, of Purton Road, Moredon, was on a night out at Pasha's Nightclub in Fleet Street with his girlfriend, as well as Victoria Pike and her boyfriend… While at the club, they spotted Karanja dancing very closely to several women, who did not welcome his attentions. He was asked by the club manager to leave.
After the four revellers left they jumped in a taxi, but had not gone far before one of the couples argued and they all got out on Station Road. Then a taxi in front of them stopped and Karanja got out. Without a word he started having a scuffle with Martin.
Having pushed him to the ground, Martin and the other three walked towards the station. Then they bumped into Stacey Deacon, who they had seen earlier in the nightclub and started chatting to her. Then all hell broke loose.
They hadn't seen Karanja coming around the corner to find them. The next thing Martin knew, Victoria had been punched in the face and without any words being exchanged, Karanja was coming for him. Martin said:
'He just walked up and slashed me across the arm. I just felt a sting. He marched off getting into a taxi. I ran into the station, holding my arm to try and get some help. Upstairs on one of the platforms Stacey was running up and down, shouting she had been stabbed. She was in shock.
It all happened so fast, I didn't even know she had been involved. The next thing I knew I was being grabbed by a paramedic.' Martin spent two days in hospital and said:
I am still a bit wary of going out at night now. Things could have been a lot worse, but now I am constantly looking over my shoulder.'
Stacey Deacon couldn't hold her new baby after being stabbed twice through the abdomen. Yesterday she cheered then sobbed in the public gallery as Robert Karanja was found guilty of attempting to murder her. Speaking of her huge relief, the 23-year-old mother-of-two said:
'I feel relieved he's caught and can't do it to anyone else. I didn't know the man.'
Stacey had told how the stabbing felt like two blows. One of the wounds was 10cm deep and had perforated her small bowel, slicing it in four places…
'I have got two children aged four and 16 months. For the first few months after I was stabbed I couldn't hold my baby. Now I am just going to move on with my life and concentrate on my children.'
Giving evidence, Karanja said:
'I was being punched and kicked. I believe the injuries to Stacey Deacon were caused during my struggle to break free. The injuries were caused by accident and were not deliberate.'
But the jury rejected this point of view, and decided that Karanja's rage was such that he had tried to kill Stacey.""Robert Karanja has now been jailed for nine years…
Miss Deacon says she will never forget how he could have taken her away from her children. She said:
'My partner wants me to forgive him because otherwise it just makes you bitter. But I don't know if I ever can. That's the man who wanted to take me away from my children, my partner and my family.'
Miss Deacon, 24, was in court on Friday when the judge sentenced Karanja. He was found guilty by a jury in October. I am happy with that, but at the same time I'm left thinking is that all my life is worth?' she said.
'My mum was really angry, but I'm her daughter and I don't think even the death penalty would be enough in her eyes.'
Since the attack in November 2004 Miss Deacon said she has become a lot more wary. 'I won't go out in the town centre at night any more, I've done it once or twice and I just don't like it,' she said.
Miss Deacon said after she was stabbed she was convinced she was going to die. 'It was just like being punched, it wasn't until I tried to run away that I put my hand down to my side and felt the blood,' she said.
'I thought I was going to die, all that kept going through my head was how I would never see my children again. It was terrifying, and I was so scared that he was going to come back. That was my biggest worry, that he would be back in Swindon within a year, at least now I know that is not going to happen…
My five-year-old daughter has asked me what happened… How am I supposed to explain that this nasty man hurt mummy for no reason? Why should I have to? It really upsets me when she asks about it, but I still have days when I don't feel like doing anything and she asks me what's wrong'."
As for the milquetoast who wants you 'to forgive him because otherwise it just makes you bitter,' sack the silly, pink tutu.
You wouldn't sack your 'supportive partner' just because he's a soft-hearted? Let me ask you a question, Stacey. Ifyour let's-not-be-bitter boyfriend had been there that night, do you think he would have put himself in between you and the African savage and started swinging? Or do you think he'd have tried to reason with the poor, misunderstood chap?
Do you think, in the split second it takes a bleeding-heart, on-message botwag to say 'I feel your pain, Mr Immigrant,' that your guts might have been spilling out all over the road and there's you thinking that you'll never see your kids again?
The British man who is not prepared to hate the murderous alien who tries to kill his lady, is not the kind of bloke she should be lavishing her affections upon.
Find yourself a better man, Stacey. There are plenty about who would be happy to hate the bad guy every bit as much as your mother does.
Someone Who Will Strike Again
A few minutes after midnight 2006, 32-year-old Paul Kelly was murdered in Bath. He was stabbed repeatedly outside the Longacre Tavern following a row that started in the pub.
Paul and his friends were out celebrating the New Year when, just after midnight, an argument broke out between his friend and a group of mainly black men and women. Paul did his best to seperate the two sides and things quietened down. However, after a few minutes the row started up again with a foul-mouthed black female at the centre of it.
It spilled out into the street outside the pub and, once again, Paul was seen trying to calm things down. Despite his easily perceived role as peacemaker, Paul was stabbed.
In March 2007, Paul's killer had still not been apprehended. Detective Inspector Guy Turner said:
"I've never experienced this before. Some people we know saw the incident are telling us point blank that they haven't seen it. A misguided sense of loyalty is protecting a killer in the community."On 8 April 2007, The Observer reported thus:
"When questioned, not a single neighbour was prepared to admit that they knew who lived at the suspect's address. Some stared blankly, others shrugged their shoulders at the mention of his name. One youth turned and sprinted away when confronted."One night in March 2007, a poem called 'Running from Paul Kelly' was plastered all over the area adjacent to the Longacre Tavern where Paul was murdered.
Nathan Dixon's name was removed from the poem cited below by those media outlets who reported its contents.
"Now I will show how a few words can be madeDespite all concerned knowing the ethnicity of Paul's killer, the PC Crowd still sought to make capital out of the crime.
As sharp and deadly as any boy's blade
How running away will not you save
The truth is there like an open grave
You can wipe your bloody hands in the grass, till they bleed ...
A defenceless man is dead and his blood's gone cold
But the story of his end is going to be told
You can run and run till your shoes wear thin
And hope that you're safe, 'cos of the colour of your skin
Paul Kelly lies dead, and who held the knife?
It was youxxxxxxwe all saw take his life.
The New Year was but a short hour old
When you and your mates were: Oh, so bold
You put us to shame,
But we did the same
It was black on white, so it must be right
It was you who said: 'He had it coming that night'
Then you ran away and we turned our backs
You said we would be next if we breathed a word
We took in your threats that now sound absurd
So we closed our eyes
And took in your lies
So where will you run when, at last, you face a brave man?
You gonna run once more through the streets, all a-quiver?
Will wash yourself down in the deep, deep river?
You, young xxxxxx, where you threw the knife,
Listen to what I say and take good heed
You can wipe your bloody hands in the grass, till they bleed ...
But you will never, never get them clean".
The Observer continued:
"Racial equality groups claim that officers have caused disquiet by arresting people over the murder simply because they are black. So, the PC Crowd warns us that, if an immigrant community with an 'ingrained suspicion' of British authority (so ingrained that it would not assist the police in finding a killer if the killer was one of their own) was not provided with even more freebies than it had already been given, black youth would turn to serious crime.
One reason the killer remains at large, claims the city's racial equality council, is an INGRAINED SUSPICION OF AUTHORITY BY ELDER MEMBERS OF BATH'S BLACK COMMUNITY WHICH HAS INFECTED A YOUNGER GENERATION. Police were warned two years ago that unless ethnic minorities were given their own community facilities, bored and alienated youths would turn to serious crime."
Paul's death would suggest that those who are prepared to threaten the authorities thus, did not get all they required.
After a £10,000 reward was posted on BBC's Crimewatch, one name was repeatedly mentioned, albeit anonymously, and 18-year-old Nathan 'Nitro' Dixon was taken into custody soon afterwards.
In court, a 15-year-old girl said she saw Dixon stab Paul, adding:
"I saw Nathan was stabbing him with something. He did it a few times. I could tell it was more than once. Then I saw Nathan get up and kick him. I said 'What are you doing? You have stabbed him. That's enough now'."Describing Dixon, she said:
"He hasn't really got any friends... He tries to intimidate me. He tries to snatch my cigarettes and money... I said: 'I will tell the police you committed the murder'. He said 'if you do that I will shoot you'. Now he's committed the crime he thinks he is really big and bad. As soon as I said 'little murderer', he sat there shaking and looking really scared."She said Dixon, who has short hair, had told her to tell police the killer had been someone with dreadlocks. At his trial, it was pointed out that Dixon had used rap terminology to boast to friends that he was the killer. "I poke him, I'm a 187," he said.
187 is the catalogue penal code for murder in the first degree in California. This term is often used in rap songs.18-year-old Dixon also admitted this:
"I'm a murderer. He got what he deserved... I told him 'I will do you when you come outside.' I boxed him up."'Nitro' Dixon stabbed Paul six times. As a result of which, his aorta, the main artery pumping blood from the heart to the rest of the body, was severed and he died almost immediately.
Paul and 'Nitro' Dixon are pictured below:
In May 2008, a 'British' jury found the creature that brought the life of Paul Kelly to an end NOT GUILTY of his murder.
As the verdict was read out, Paul's father banged his fist on the pillars of the public gallery and yelled:
"NO JUSTICE"!Aye, Mr Kelly. No justice. Now you know how it really is with us.
On 8 April 2007, The Observer had reported thus:
"Kelly, a father-of-two, met his fate at the hands of SOMEONE WHO MANY CLEARLY BELIEVE WILL STRIKE AGAIN.".When he does, remember those who would not 'grass.' And remember a 'British' Jury who, by a majority verdict, freed a murderous, black beast to kill again.
